Spondle is now available on both Android and iOS!

If your household is anything like most households, your family’s logistics are probably scattered across a dozen different places. The grocery list lives in an endless WhatsApp chat, the kids' school schedules are buried in an inbox, and the bills are tracked purely by memory (and the occasional passive-aggressive reminder).
We built Spondle to fix this chaos. Our vision is to give families a centralized "operating system" so they can spend more time actually enjoying each other and less time managing admin.
And today, we are thrilled to announce a massive step toward that vision: Spondle is officially available on Android! Whether your household runs entirely on iOS, entirely on Android, or a mix of both, everyone can finally get on the same page. But this launch isn't just about adding a new app store to our website. It’s about fulfilling the core philosophy behind why Spondle exists in the first place: Household management has to be a multiplayer experience.
Here is what that means, and why we designed Spondle to be your family's shared brain.
The Problem with "Single-Player" Parenting
Most productivity apps are built for individuals. When a family tries to use a standard to-do list app to run their home, it almost always creates a "single-player" dynamic.
Usually, one person the "default parent" downloads the app, sets up the lists, and tries to organize the chaos. But because the system isn't truly integrated into the rest of the household, that parent ends up just managing the app instead of the house. They still have to verbally assign chores, forward calendar invites, and text their partner to ask if they picked up the milk.
Single-player apps don't share the mental load; they just digitize it for one person.
The Essence of Multiplayer Household Operations
Every efficient, modern business uses shared software (like Google Workspace or a CRM) so the team can operate seamlessly. We believe families deserve that exact same level of infrastructure.
A multiplayer household means that the entire family operates from a single source of truth, in real-time, regardless of what device they are holding.
Real-Time Syncing: If you are at the supermarket and check off "Nappies," your partner sees it disappear from the list on their phone instantly. No double-buying.
Shared Accountability: When a household bill is logged, it doesn't just sit in one person's head. It lives in the shared app, keeping everyone aware of what is due and who is handling it.
Decentralized Admin: Anyone in the household can add a chore, schedule an event, or update the pantry tracker. The burden of planning is distributed, not concentrated.
Why We Made Spondle Multiplayer
We didn't set out to build just another checklist. We set out to solve the friction that steals joy from families.
When household logistics are invisible, they cause arguments. When they are shared and highly visible, they create equity. By making Spondle a strictly multiplayer platform, we remove the need for constant status updates and nagging. The app acts as the neutral referee, managing the admin so you don't have to.
Our ultimate goal is simple: More family time, less family admin. Cross-Device Harmony: iOS and Android.
Families are diverse ecosystems. It is incredibly common for household members to prefer different types of phones. By bringing Spondle to Android, we are ensuring that no one is left out of the loop.
You can now invite members to your Spondle household knowing that the cross-platform sync will work flawlessly. An update made on an iPhone reflects instantly on an Android device, and vice versa. Your household’s operating system is officially device-agnostic.
